With 20 years of experience in East Africa’s capital markets, Tom is a seasoned expert in capital markets development and regulation. As a consultant with Blockweb Africa Ltd, he helped establish markets in Burundi and Haiti. He serves on the board of Altree Capital Kenya Ltd, where he chairs the Audit Committee, and was appointed to the Insurance Appeals Tribunal in 2023.

Previously, Tom was Director of Issuers and Market Regulation at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), overseeing regulatory compliance and key committees. His expertise includes listings, mergers, market intermediaries, and corporate governance. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Nairobi and is pursuing a PhD in Strategic Management. He is a CPA(K), CPS(K), and Certified Investment and Financial Analyst (CIFA).
